Cộng Cafe is a charming little gem nestled in the heart of Busan, located at 60 Gwangan-ro 61beon-gil, Suyeong-gu. This cafe takes you on a delightful journey to Vietnam with its authentic décor and flavors, making it a must-visit for any coffee enthusiast or traveler in search of a cozy spot to unwind.

As you step inside, you're greeted by an ambiance reminiscent of traditional Vietnamese coffee shops. The decor, with its dark green “military” hues and low seating, evokes a sense of nostalgia that transports you straight to Da Nang. The intimate setup allows for a relaxed dining atmosphere, perfect for solo visits or catching up with friends while soaking in a view of the beautiful beach from the second floor.

Cộng Cafe's menu features a selection of authentic Vietnamese coffee, but their cong coffee stands out as a signature offering that many customers have raved about. Miguel Esguerra, a satisfied patron, expressed his admiration for the mocha latte, praising the rich chocolate flavor and the fluffy, marshmallow-like foam that crowned his drink, calling it a definite 10/10. It's a testament to how they elevate simple ingredients into an extraordinary experience.

Another highlight is the coconut smoothie, which 한상헌 described as "especially delicious," illustrating the menu’s focus on refreshing, tropical flavors. Though the cafe might be on the smaller side, the attention to detail and the speed of their service don’t go unnoticed, as John appreciated during his visit, remarking on the clean and efficient coffee-making process.

However, be prepared for a bit of a workout! The layout requires guests to hand-carry their drinks upstairs, providing a touch of adventure in the cafe experience. While some visitors like Sook Hwang note the inconvenience of fetching drinks and using restrooms, they agree that the allure of the delicious cong coffee is worth the effort. Cộng Cafe might be tiny, but its heart is made big by the taste of Vietnam encapsulated in each cup.

Whether you're a local or a traveler looking to escape the hustle of the city, Cộng Cafe is a delightful retreat where every sip brings a flavor of Vietnam straight to your palate. Don’t miss out on this unique culinary experience in Busan—come for the coffee, and stay for the warmth of the atmosphere!

I ordered a mocha latte. I make my own coffee at home. I’ve always been a fan of Vietnamese coffee too. In fact, I used to sell a similar kind of coffee to friends. The chocolate powder tasted real nice. The foam, fluffy like wet marshmallows. The coffee! 10/10! Super simple set up. They make coffee fast and clean. I love the details of the interior of their store too. Small place but enough for a quick caffeine fix. Awesome view of the beach and the sea.

I have been to the two Cộng Cà Phê in Da Nang, Vietnam and I like how this one in Busan tried to keep a similar vibe, especially with a mix of normal and small seating areas. The low/small chairs and tables are very unique to Vietnam, the dark green “military” color interior, and menu were great. The taste was similar to that of Da Nang and the view of the beach is beautiful from the second floor seating area.

You can enjoy a Vietnam-style café in Gwangalli with a great view from the bar area. The coconut smoothie was especially delicious!

It’s a very very tiny cafe.. and even two floors. You have to hand-carry your drinks up to be seated on the second-floor. To get the restroom key, you have to go down to the first floor and also to pick up your drinks. It was quite a hassel and I would only go back for the cong coffee… which tastes sweet and strong!
